SOUTH AYRSHIRE SCHOOL CLOTHING BANK
At this time, we know that many families are facing hardship that’s why we’re supporting South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank – a small local charity run by volunteers.
When a pupil goes to school in the ‘wrong’ clothes they can be vulnerable to social exclusion, bullying, low self-esteem, reduced academic ambitions, and poor mental health. They aim to tackle these issues at an early stage by helping youngsters to look the same as others, and to be able to walk into school with their heads held high.
We want children to have the best academic, social & sporting opportunities; and to take some of the stress away from their parents or carers.

The items they need most are jumpers, polo shirts and shirts. They have a good stock of age 3-4, 4-5, 6-7 as these are the ages people most often think off so at the moment it’s age 7/8 right up to age 15/16.
They’re also short on shoes from child size 10 to adult 5.
